Lending Guidelines in Wonderland Do you feel like you have joined Alice and followed the White Rabbit down the rabbit hole to Wonderland…..AKA Mortgage Lending Land?
I am sure that everyone recognizes the need to stay plugged into the on-going guideline changes, but it almost seems manic in this Wonderland/Lending Land at times. |

Follow Your Intuition Years ago, before cell phones and 911, my husband and our two small boys traveled by car to San Diego for Thanksgiving. We reached the mountain pass between El Centro and San Diego late into the night. I was driving and everyone else was asleep. As I drove I found myself on the windy mountain road alone with the exception of two sets of headlights that were some distance behind. While looking at these lights I noticed one set of lights skim across the lanes to its left like a phonograph tone arm without a needle skims across a record, and then just as suddenly sweeping across to the right and then disappearing into blackness. |

“COPY & PASTE” If you have ever used a computer you are probably familiar with the copy & paste feature. This makes it possible to copy data from one place and paste it into another. It is a real time saver. Have you ever stopped and thought about how this tool could be used in daily life?

The Strength of a Nail
I recently saw a cartoon where a man had just destroyed his computer, it read: “My computer kept locking up on me so I smashed it to pieces. After I buy a new one I’ll look into anger management.” Our society has witnessed some incredible examples of anger that has not been managed. If you follow sports you will probably remember Bob Knight the former coach for Indiana University.

Raising The Bar I can remember when Governor Brewer took office, there were many in the real estate industry wondering who would be our next Department of Real Estate Commissioner.
Much was speculated, as is usually the case when change occurs. Then the announcement came, Judy Lowe, a Tucson real estate practitioner. Her accomplishments in the real estate industry are many and quite impressive.
As impressive as her background is, I still wanted to know, who is she? |

#200 - Estate Planning
As we grow older we are told by experts to have an estate plan; a plan that would protect our assets, avoid unnecessary taxation, and allow for an orderly distribution to our heirs. |

#199 – Navigation
Our car is equipped with an expensive navigational system. We are able to program a specific destination into a computer. We are told what roads to take, how long the trip will last and what points of interest are along the way.
To make sure we are on track, the system will continually monitor our progress toward the destination.

#198 - What You Can’t Buy You can buy a person’s time, presence, labor, and appearance. You can demand a person work eight hours a day and follow specific instructions. You can have a person sign a contract spelling out the precise terms of the agreement and penalties. You can insist on children following the house rules. |

#196 - THE FLOW We have all had those days when everything goes right, we get the lucky breaks, we say just the right words, and our timing is perfect with those around us.
We are happiest when we are in the flow, when we are in touch with ourselves.
