Appraisal of residential properties of any value or complexity.
EDUCATION: Minimum of 150 hours in courses of more than 15 hours each, as prescribed by the Arizona Board of Appraisal. This will be the minimum credential required to do FHA appraisals per recent regulatory changes.
Distance learning restrictions may affect credit.
EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 2000 hours of appraisal experience, to be obtained in a time period of not less than 18 months.
EXAM: Successful completion of state examination. (75% to pass)
The following courses are approved by the Arizona Board of Appraisal and will apply towards meeting the educational requirements for Licensed Residential Appraiser: (All students must pass the required course exam in order to receive appraisal credit.)
