Denis began his residential real estate career directly out of college in 1972 in his hometown of Kennewick; Washington. He earned his broker’s license at the age of 24. Shortly after that, he opened his first company, developing it to 3 offices in 3 years. After selling that first company, he worked for several of the Nation’s largest real estate companies throughout the 1980s. He has been a recruiter, regional trainer, mentor, coach, manager, general manager for a 16-office company, owner of multiple real estate offices, and consultant to agents, brokers and single and multi-office companies in the Western United States. In 1990 he joined nationally recognized John L. Scott Real Estate in Washington State to open their newest branch office. Within 3 years it had grown to the top office in the county and by 1998 was the top unit producing office in Washington State – a position the office held until he and his wife moved to Arizona in 2002. Since moving to Arizona, Denis opened another real estate company and ran it for 5 years and then concentrated on doing his own personal production.
However, Denis has found that working with agents, whether teaching, mentoring, coaching or managing, has really been his calling in the real estate business. Helping agents make life-long careers is Denis’ goal. Many of the agents who started in real estate with him in the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s are still active, successful and even owners of their own firms today. Denis became an ADRE Certified Instructor with ARIZONA SCHOOL OF REAL ESTATE AND BUSINESS in 2012 and teaches both Broker Pre-Licensing classes and continuing education classes.
