How to become a real estate broker in Arizona

Step 1

Complete Required Education

To get your Arizona license you must be 18 years of age and have 3 years of actual experience as a licensed real estate agent or broker within the past 5 years.  You must complete 90 hours of education that consists of 24 classes.  You must also attend the Review R-I and R-II, which is part of the 90 hours of education.

Step 2

Get a Fingerprint Clearance Card

All students are required to obtain a fingerprint clearance card as part of the Real Estate licensing process.  Learn more!

Step 3

Complete the School Exam

All students are required to complete and pass the school exam with a score of 75% or higher.  Learn more.

Step 4

Schedule your Test

Contact Pearson Vue at www.pearsonvue.com to schedule the state and national examinations.

Step 5

Complete the Broker Management Clinic

All students are required to attend before activating a Broker’s license.

Submit Your Application

Apply for your license with the Arizona Department of Real Estate at www.azre.gov.
