How to become a real estate broker in Arizona

Step 1

Complete Required Education

To get an Arizona license you must be 18 years of age and have 3 years of actual experience as a licensed real estate agent or broker within the past 5 years, which is verified with the LI-226 form (Required for testing and licensing). You must complete 90 hours of education that consists of 26 classes.

Get a Fingerprint Clearance Card

All students are required to obtain a fingerprint clearance card as part of the Real Estate licensing process.  Learn more!

Step 3

Complete the School Exam

All students are required to complete and pass the school exam with a score of 75% or higher.  Learn more.

Step 4

Schedule your Test

Contact Pearson Vue at to schedule the state and national examinations.

Step 5

Complete the Broker Management Clinic

All students are required to attend before activating a Broker’s license.
