Students will learn the history of Fair Housing and how the rules and regulations in place today came to be and how they affect the real estate industry in current situations. We will discuss the 1968 Civil Rights Act, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and resources available to agents regarding Fair Housing rules and regulations through the usage of real examples. Topics Include: Fair Housing Background, 1968 Civil Rights Act, Americans with Disabilities Act, Amendments, ADA, Q&A.
