At Arizona School of Real Estate and Business, we’re with you every step of the way on your education journey. We offer career education for the real estate, appraisal, home inspection, insurance, and mortgage industries. Our course schedule below highlights our instructor-led Livestream virtual class offerings (attend class via Zoom!), Virtual Open Houses for prospective students, Virtual Career Expos for current real estate students, and scheduled online broker classes. In addition to our Livestream offerings, we’re also here for you with online self-study programs where you can go at your own pace for real estate pre-licensing and continuing education, as well as appraisal continuing education. Real estate pre-licensing courses can even be taken through a combination of online and Livestream classes!

Water Issues in Arizona, Greater Phoenix & Surrounding Areas

June 24, 2022 @ 9:00 am - 12:30 pm

Runs from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM from 06/24/2022 to 06/24/2022. Attendees will learn about the history of our water supply and how it is managed in Arizona, Greater Phoenix, and the surrounding areas. Our supply of water affects existing and future real estate developments. This course will answer questions such as where does our water come from? Where does it go? What is going right? What are concerns? How much water do we have? Students will learn about the laws and regulations that manage our water supply such as the 1902 National Reclamation Act, 1903 creation of the Salt River Project, 1919 Arizona Legislature adopts the Public Water Code, 1944 Arizona approves the Colorado River Compact, 1948 Arizona Legislature passes first Groundwater Code Legislation, 1971 Arizona Legislature creates the Central Arizona Water Conservation District, 1980 Arizona Legislature passes the Groundwater Management Act, 1995 Arizona Department of Water Resources (ADWR) establishes criteria requiring developers to demonstrate 100 year assured water supply before land is sold for housing subdivision in Active Management Areas (AMAs), 2007 Arizona Legislature enacts mandatory water adequacy for areas outside of AMAs, 2015 Arizona Governor establishes Arizona Water Initiative
