July 2019 – Letter From the School Director

Greg Muir
Interim School Director, Arizona Journal of Real Estate & Business

Dear friends,

I’d like to take a moment to wish all of our readers a happy 4th of July! Break out the burgers and dogs, and enjoy the fireworks. Let’s all remember that Independence Day is an opportunity to be thankful and celebrate the freedoms we have because of our founding fathers. I hope you enjoy the holiday proudly and safely.

In this month’s issue of The Journal, readers will learn from the experts about the ins and outs of luxury real estate. The landscape of who is buying and selling a luxury property has changed almost as much as the properties themselves. The same rules still apply – luxury real estate is generally larger and sits in a prime location, however, the list of custom-built features is never-ending. Whether a potential homeowner is looking for an extravagant entertaining space with a home theater, game room, and outdoor living area, or a secluded getaway with quiet spaces like a secret library, grand dressing room, and spa-like bathroom, there’s something out there for everyone.

Although intriguing, some of these amenities can make a luxury property difficult to sell if not marketed properly. Often traditional marketing methods don’t work as well in selling luxury homes – more often than not, it takes dedicated networking to find potential buyers for these niche-built homes.

I hope you will join us for the Luxury Homes Seminar on July 19th at our Scottsdale campus from 9:00am – 12:30pm. Visit our website (asreb.com/seminars) to register. You’ll learn more about the luxury real estate market in Arizona from local industry experts.

Wishing you all a safe and happy 4th of July! Sincerely,

Greg Muir

Interim School Director
