As President Franklin Roosevelt once declared: “Real estate cannot be lost or stolen, nor can it be carried away. Purchased with common sense, paid for in full, and managed with reasonable care, it is about the safest investment in the world.” With an emphasis on “purchased with common sense,” I believe it can be not only the safest, but also one of the best investments you can make.
The book HOLD became a National Best Seller because it simply shows you how to purchase, manage and grow your investment in real estate. I built a successful real estate practice by helping my clients add this real estate investment model to their own portfolio. These clients are still seeing returns today from property that they invested some time ago. They became my inspiration to share with others this long term investment strategy called “HOLD,” which every person you know should aspire to follow. With this method, you can “buy it right” from the beginning and grow your investment portfolio over a longer, historically more stable and predictable time period.
The “HOLD” strategy consists
of five key elements:
- Find
- Analyze
- Buy
- Manage
- Grow
We all saw how the institutional investors, “the smart money,” have come into the Phoenix market and acquired thousands of homes. They are not flipping they are holding on to those assets! Our market is strong. Our population growth continues adding approximately 100,000 new people to the Valley each year. Our property values are increasing. The rents are up and the interest rates and vacancy rates are low. This is a great time to acquire property using the “HOLD” strategy. The co-author of HOLD, Linda McKissack, put it: “I’ve seen the difference real estate investing has made in our lives, so when I see other people struggling and facing challenges, I want them to try it too because I know it works.”
I will be presenting how you can (and should) build your real estate business by helping others reach their wealth building goals. Join me (bring your friends, family and prospects) on December 11th at the Arizona School of Real Estate & Business from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm to see how you can greatly impact the lives of those you serve.
