President, Arizona Journal of Real Estate & Business

Dear Readers,

I’m happy to report that we at the Arizona School of Real Estate & Business received overwhelmingly positive feedback about our May seminar, Millennials’ Impact on the Market: Buying, Investing, and the Technology Boost. As millennials’ incomes increase with age and they start wanting to settle down, they’ll continue to effect major change. This generation has grown to become the largest portion of the home buying market. With that in mind, it’s critical that our industry understands millennials’ needs and innovates where necessary, as they bring an entirely new dynamic to the real estate market.

While it’s important to know all generations of buyers and sellers, we must also keep in mind other drivers of industry change. This issue contains important information concerning the big data revolution, mobile technology’s impact on real estate, drone use in our industry, and bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. We even tackle artificial intelligence — yes, it’s real and it’s in real estate.

If you’d like to learn more about these exciting topics, I encourage you to attend our CE-approved seminar, The Industry Evolution: Big Data, Smart Technology, Drones & More, on July 20 at our Scottsdale campus from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. At this event, featured speakers and panelists will break this information down in an easily understood and accessible way. Our goal for these seminars is to provide continuing education while illustrating how information can be practically applied to all in the industry. We hope you leave empowered with fresh knowledge and a desire to expand your horizons

Going into this month, let’s all celebrate Independence Day with pride and remember those who ensured our country’s freedom. And when celebrating with friends and family, remember to keep a safe distance from those fireworks.
